Daylong Retreats

What is a Daylong Retreat?

Day-Long Retreats offer the opportunity for deep meditation practice and contemplative reflection with the convenience of a single day format.

Where and When?

The Muskoka Mindfulness Community has been meeting once a month for many years. The days are guided by Bill Knight or one of several Sangha Leaders that mentor with Bill. Arrive at 9:00 am. Noble silence begins at 9:15. Guided meditations, silent meditation, mindful movement, walking meditation, eating meditation (bring your own lunch), and dharma talks are offered throughout the day.  You can also try a half-day by arriving at 9:00am and staying until the lunch break or arriving during the lunch break and staying until after the closing circle at 4:30pm.

2023 Schedule (typically the 4th Sunday with some exceptions):

April 23, May 28, June 25, July 23, August 27, September 24, October 22, November 26 and December 17.
